Product Details

The Faria Platinum 4" Tachometer (7000 RPM) is designed for gas-powered inboard, outboard, and I/O marine engines. This premium gauge features a spun aluminum dial with custom graphics and a polished stainless steel bezel, delivering both durability and elegant styling for your boat's helm.

Key Features:

  • Revolutionary domed glass fog-resistant lens that sheds condensation and resists scratching
  • Blue LED perimeter illumination around the dial for excellent nighttime visibility
  • Illuminated backlit fire-orange tip pointer for easy reading in all conditions
  • Electronic operation counts pulses from ignition system, alternator, or magnetic pickup sender
  • Adjustable switch on back allows calibration for different pulse configurations
  • Standard 4" gauge with 3.375" (85mm) hole size for easy installation

The Platinum Series is engineered specifically for the harsh marine environment, with materials and construction designed to withstand moisture, vibration, and temperature extremes. This tachometer works with 12VDC systems and requires connections to power, ground, and your engine's signal source. The selectable switch allows you to match the gauge to your engine's pulse configuration for accurate RPM readings up to 7000 RPM.

Specifications: 4" diameter, 3.375" mounting hole, 7000 RPM maximum, suitable for gasoline engines only (inboard, outboard, and sterndrive applications).

Factory part number TC8511. Sold individually. Gauge cover not included.

Nice

Delivery was a week. Not that there is anything Autoplicity could do, short of changing shippers, but FedEx tracking initially projected delivery on Thursday---which would be the norm for an item shipping from IN. So I planned for that. When it was a no show, I checked tracking--now estimating delivery on Friday, but the item was still in IL. It was a no show on Friday, no surprise. Now reporting delivery on Sunday? I dismissed it until Monday. It DID show up on Sunday, but it could have easily waited until today, Monday, at that point.

Thanks
