Arco Starting & Charging 4405 Zeus 24V 4kW Low Turn On Single Foot Marine Alternator

The ARCO Zeus 24V 4kW LTO (Low Turn On) alternator is proudly made in the USA and SAE J1171 certified, representing the newest generation of high-performance 24-volt charging technology. This alternator continuously generates over 1.4kW (51 Amps) at just under 1,500 RPM and almost 2.4kW (87 Amps) at 2,000 alternator RPM, delivering exceptional power output even at lower engine speeds.

Advanced 24V Technology:

• Utilizes a native 24V rotor and field current, resulting in cooler operation and extended alternator lifespan compared to competitors using 12V field current
• Turns on at lower RPMs, runs cooler, and provides more power than older designs that are larger and heavier
• Features E-Coat/Cerakote finish for peak performance, keeping the high amp alternator cooler for sustained amperage output
• Features 1"-2" single foot mounting with isolated ground, replacing most domestic styles using single 1" or 2" mounting foot (e.g., Motorola, Prestolite)

Key Features:

• Engineered for high energy production and suitable for marine, RV, military, and commercial applications
• Rapidly charges large battery banks
• Optimized for performance at cruising speeds and reduces the need for a generator by creating additional power with your engine
• Compatible with ARCO Zeus Bluetooth Alternator Regulator for maximum performance or lithium battery charging

In real-world terms, a marine diesel engine idling at 750 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio generates over 1.5kW (55 Amps), and a Mercedes Sprinter at 750 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio generates over 2.5kW (91 Amps). This exceptional low-RPM performance makes the Zeus 4405 ideal for applications requiring reliable charging without constant high engine speeds.
