Wichard Self-Locking Allen Head Pin D Shackle Sailing Parts & Accessories

The Wichard Self-Locking Allen Head Pin D Shackle is a forged 316L stainless steel D shackle for marine rigging. It has a self-locking Allen (hex socket) pin. It suits sailboat rigging, anchor and chain connections, and halyard attachments where a secure, low-profile shackle is needed.

Key Features:

• Forged 316L stainless steel construction gives strength and resists corrosion in the marine environment
• Self-locking pin seats in one of the indentations in the shackle body, so it does not loosen from vibration
• Flush Allen head pin does not stick out from the shackle body, which reduces the risk of snagging lines and sails
• High working and breaking loads for the shackle's size
• CE marked. The working load limit (WLL) rating applies to industrial applications such as lifting

Typical Applications:

• Linking chain and anchor
• Halyard attachment, where the smooth profile helps avoid damaging sails
• Rigging in tight or cluttered areas
