Sierra Lower Unit Seal Kit for Johnson/Evinrude Outboards Gaskets & Seals

Sierra lower unit seal kits for Johnson/Evinrude outboards are also called gearcase seal kits or gear housing seal kits. They give you the seals needed to reseal the lower unit during a gearcase rebuild. Resealing helps keep gear oil in and water out, which protects the gears and bearings inside the lower unit.

Key Features:

• Replacement seals, gaskets, and O-rings for lower unit (gearcase) service
• Kit contents typically include oil seals, O-rings, and gaskets for the gear housing, with extra items such as washers or rubber seals in some kits
• Built to meet OEM specifications, according to Sierra
• Available in several kits, each matched to specific Johnson/Evinrude (OMC) outboard lower units
• Interchanges with OEM, Mallory, and GLM part numbers, which are listed on each individual part page

Replacing worn seals during a lower unit service helps the gearcase hold gear lubricant and keep water out. It also helps your outboard run reliably. Sierra is a well-known marine engine parts brand. Select the kit with the part number that matches your outboard's lower unit.
