Trident Marine Stainless Steel Constant Torque Hose Clamp ID OD

Trident Marine Stainless Steel Constant Torque Hose Clamps (730 Series) are an "active" worm gear hose clamp for marine engine hoses, exhaust connections and other clamped hose joints. Rubber hose compresses (cold flow) after it is clamped, and metal fittings expand and contract as a system heats up and cools down. A conventional clamp can lose a large share of its installed torque as a result. This clamp uses a worm gear Belleville spring washer assembly. The assembly lets the clamp change diameter as the connection changes, so it keeps its clamping force.

Key Features:

• Constant-torque design: Belleville spring washers compensate for hose cold flow and for thermal expansion and contraction.
• Stainless steel construction: the band and housing are 304 stainless steel, and the Belleville washers and screw are 401 stainless steel.
• Wide 5/8" band: spreads clamping pressure over a broad area.
• Ideal for engine hoses: adjusts automatically to heat and cold.
• 3-year manufacturer warranty.

Trident publishes recommended maximum torque values for the series, and they differ by clamp size. Use the hose ID and OD ranges in the variant selection to choose the clamp that matches your hose.
