Trident Marine 730-1000 Stainless Steel Constant Torque Hose Clamp 1" to 1-1/8" ID

The Trident Marine 730-1000 is an all-stainless steel constant torque hose clamp designed for 1" to 1-1/8" hose inner diameters, with an outer diameter range of 1.00" to 1.75". Unlike conventional worm gear or T-bolt clamps, this is an active clamping system that automatically compensates for changes in hose and fitting diameter—keeping connections sealed without manual re-tightening.

Virtually all rubber hoses experience cold flow compression after installation, which can cause torque loss exceeding 80% of the original installation torque. Metal fittings also expand and contract with heat cycles. The 730-1000 addresses both issues through its unique worm gear Belleville spring washer assembly, which continuously adjusts clamp diameter to maintain consistent clamping force through temperature changes and hose compression.

Key Features:

• Active clamping mechanism — automatically adjusts for cold flow and thermal expansion/contraction
• 304 stainless steel band and housing with 5/8" wide solid band
• 410 stainless steel Belleville spring washers and screw for long-term corrosion resistance
• Hose I.D. range: 1" to 1-1/8" | Hose O.D. range: 1.00" to 1.75"
• Recommended installation torque: 30–70 in-lbs
• Visual torque check indicator — screw tip protrudes approx. 1/4" when correctly tightened
• Ideal for marine engine hoses, exhaust connections, and sealed systems with limited access
• 3-year warranty

The 730-1000 is particularly well-suited for marine engine compartment applications where hose connections are subject to repeated heat cycles and vibration. Its 304/410 stainless steel all-metal construction provides excellent corrosion resistance in saltwater and wet bilge environments.
