Trident Marine 730-2000 Stainless Steel Constant Torque Hose Clamp 2-1/2" ID, 2.25"-3.125" OD

The Trident Marine 730-2000 is a 304 Stainless Steel Constant Torque Hose Clamp engineered for demanding marine, engine, and exhaust applications where a conventional clamp simply cannot maintain a secure seal over time. Unlike standard worm gear or T-bolt clamps, this is an active clamping system that continuously compensates for changes in hose and fitting dimensions.

Virtually all rubber hoses undergo cold flow compression after a clamp is installed, causing an almost immediate torque loss that can exceed 80% of installation torque. At the same time, metal connections expand when a system heats up and contract as it cools. The 730-2000 addresses both problems through a unique worm gear Belleville spring washer assembly that actively changes clamp diameter to maintain consistent clamping pressure — without ever needing to be re-tightened.

Key Features:

• Hose I.D. Range: 1-7/8" to 2-1/2"
• Hose O.D. Range: 2.25" to 3.125"
• Band Width: 5/8" (16mm) solid band
• Band & Housing: 304 Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance
• Belleville Spring Washers & Screw: 401 Stainless Steel for strength and durability
• Recommended Torque: 30–70 in-lbs
• Includes internal liner to protect soft or silicone hoses from damage, extrusion, and shear
• 3-Year Warranty

The 730-2000 is ideal for engine cooling hoses, exhaust hoses, and any application where thermal cycling or rubber compression could compromise clamp integrity. It is part of Trident Marine's full 730 Series, which covers hose sizes from 3/8" up to 18" I.D.
