Trident Marine 730-8000 Stainless Steel Constant Torque Hose Clamp 8" ID, 8.25"-9.125" OD

The Trident Marine 730-8000 is an all-stainless steel constant torque hose clamp designed for 8-inch nominal hose I.D., accommodating hose O.D. ranges from 8.25" to 9.125". Unlike conventional worm gear or T-bolt clamps, this is an active clamping mechanism that continuously monitors and compensates for dimensional changes in hose and fitting connections — keeping a secure, leak-free seal without re-tightening.

Rubber hoses naturally compress (cold flow) after being clamped, which can cause standard clamps to lose over 80% of their original installation torque almost immediately. Metal fittings also expand and contract with temperature changes. The 730-8000's unique worm gear Belleville spring washer assembly automatically adjusts the clamp diameter to compensate, maintaining consistent clamping force throughout the life of the connection.

Key Features:

• Active constant torque design — self-adjusting Belleville spring washer assembly maintains clamping pressure
• 304 stainless steel band and housing with a 5/8" wide solid band
• 410 stainless steel Belleville spring washers and screw for corrosion resistance
• Fits 8" nominal hose I.D. with an O.D. range of 8.25" to 9.125"
• Recommended installation torque: 50–120 in-lb (for sizes above 730-3000)
• Ideal for engine exhaust hoses, cooling hoses, and other marine applications subject to temperature cycling
• Backed by a 3-year warranty

The Trident Marine 730 Series Constant Torque Clamp is an industry-trusted solution for bilge, exhaust, raw water, and other critical marine hose connections where a secure, maintenance-free seal is essential.
