Racor Diesel Fuel Filters
Racor 2020V-02 Aquabloc Replacement Filter Element for Turbine Fuel Filter/Water Separators
Racor RK 11-1606-1 Clear Bowl Kit for 900/1000 Series Fuel Filter Separators
When diesel engine protection demands the highest level of filtration technology, Racor stands as the industry benchmark for diesel fuel filters that deliver exceptional water separation and contaminant removal. As a division of Parker Hannifin, Racor has engineered fuel filtration solutions for over 40 years, earning the trust of marine operators, heavy-duty fleets, and diesel engine manufacturers worldwide.
Turbine Series: Three-Stage Filtration Excellence
The Racor Fuel Filter Water Separator Turbine Series is a three-stage filtration system that provides maximum protection of diesel engine components by effectively removing contaminants from fuel, such as water, silica, sand, dirt, and rust. The legendary Turbine Series features a centrifuge stage that spins off large solids and water droplets, a coalescing stage where small water droplets bead up on the conical baffle, and a final filtration stage powered by the patented Aquabloc® filter element. Available in multiple flow capacities from 60 to over 500 gallons per hour, these UL-approved assemblies meet ASTM, ISO, and USCG standards for critical marine and industrial applications.
Aquabloc® Media Technology
Their proprietary Aquabloc® media enhances contaminant capture while maintaining optimal flow rates. This engineered media repels water into the collection bowl while trapping particulates down to 2, 10, or 30 microns depending on application requirements. Unlike conventional filter media that can become saturated, Aquabloc® maintains consistent flow characteristics even when exposed to emulsified water and modern biodiesel blends, making it ideally suited for today's ultra-low sulfur diesel fuels.
Diesel Spin-On Series: Compact Versatility
Racor's Diesel Spin-On Series remove water, dirt, and fine particles to protect diesel engines. With Aquabloc® media, they ensure clean fuel delivery and extend engine life. These compact, cost-effective filters feature die-cast aluminum mounting heads suitable for on-engine or remote installation, integral hand-operated priming pumps on many models, and a choice of see-through polymer or metal collection bowls for visual water inspection. The Spin-On Series provides an economical solution for generator sets, light commercial vehicles, and auxiliary diesel engines where space is at a premium.
Built for Demanding Conditions
Each unit is manufactured with premium materials and built to perform under continuous vibration, fluctuating temperatures, and harsh marine conditions. Racor employs automotive-grade seals compatible with B20 biodiesel and adheres to ISO/TS16949 production standards to eliminate internal bypass issues. The corrosion-resistant construction withstands exposure to alcohol-blended fuels, salt spray, and UV light, ensuring long-term reliability in the most challenging environments. Optional Water-In-Fuel (WIF) sensors with gold-plated probe tips provide early warning of water accumulation, helping prevent costly injector damage and unscheduled downtime.
