Double Braid Nylon Construction
Seachoice's flagship double braid nylon dock lines are pre-shrunk and heat stabilized, offering higher wet strength and better abrasion resistance than other nylons. These premium lines come complete with 15-inch eye splices (24-inch on 3/4-inch rope) for easy attachment to cleats and mooring hardware. The lines won't mold or mildew, ensuring they maintain their integrity season after season. Available in a wide range of diameters from 3/8-inch to 3/4-inch and lengths from 10 to 50 feet, Seachoice double braid lines accommodate everything from small tenders to larger cruising vessels.
Three-Strand Twisted Nylon Options
For boaters who prefer traditional rope construction, Seachoice manufactures premium three-strand twisted nylon dock lines with color tracers. These 16-strand lines feature 2,000 lbs. tensile strength, float on water, and include UV protection. The twisted construction provides excellent shock absorption during docking and allows for easy splicing when custom lengths are needed. Color options including white with blue tracer, navy, burgundy, and gold/white combinations help boaters color-coordinate their docking setup while maintaining high visibility.
