The Arco 5394 is an original equipment quality replacement outboard starter designed for Force 1996-1999 40-50 HP engines with a 13-tooth drive gear. This is a 12-volt starter with the battery stud located on the bottom of the unit. ARCO Marine is a USA-based manufacturer located in Pensacola, Florida, established in 1960 as pioneers in the original equipment replacement parts segment.

  • Motor shafts induction case hardened at bearing surfaces for superior wear resistance
  • All armatures tested to withstand 50 times operation voltage
  • Performance tested at 5 different load levels to meet or exceed OEM standards
  • 13-tooth drive gear configuration
  • Bottom-mount battery stud configuration

Replaces OEM Part Numbers: FORCE 50-820193, MERCURY 50-820193, 50-820193-1, 50-820193T1, 50-820193003, and SIERRA 18-5622.

Important: Before ordering, verify the location of the battery stud on your existing starter. This model features a bottom-mounted battery stud. If your original starter has a different battery stud location, consider the Arco 5397 alternative.

Great price on the gas jugs

Could not find the part I was looking for at any other 4x4 website. Found it here and it was cheaper than almost every other place.
