Product Details

Boeshield RustFree is a fast-acting rust and stain remover that works on virtually any surface, including steel, cast iron, stainless steel, fiberglass, chrome, tile, porcelain, vinyl, and cloth. This acidic formula works best above 70°F and comes in a convenient 8.45 oz pump spray bottle for easy application.

Application Instructions:

  • For light rust on steel or cast iron, spray RustFree on a rag and wipe the surface
  • Avoid spraying directly on delicate surfaces as it may cause spotting
  • For heavy rust, spray directly on the rusted surface and scrub with a Scotch-Brite pad
  • Allow to penetrate for 30-60 seconds, then wipe with a dry cloth
  • Wipe off and repeat if necessary for stubborn rust

After rust removal, use Boeshield T-9 to lubricate and protect bare metal surfaces from future corrosion. Caution: RustFree can cause dulling on polished surfaces, so always test in a small area first.

Lowest price I found and a great quick ordering experience. Product is listed as for WRX, but other sources say WRX model installs differently. Will work fine for my Forester, though.

The order number 15547 tailgate lock fit perfectly. The shipping was very fast, ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Saturday. Will order from again.
