Product Details

The Martyr Anodes CMX00 is a streamlined zinc shaft anode designed to protect 1/2" propeller shafts from galvanic corrosion in saltwater and brackish water environments. This sacrificial anode acts as the first point of corrosion, preserving your more expensive underwater metals like propellers, shafts, rudders, and through-hull fittings.

Key Features:

  • Streamlined design minimizes drag and maintains optimal boat performance
  • Fits 1/2" diameter propeller shafts
  • Secured with Allen screw for reliable installation and easy replacement
  • Zinc alloy construction ideal for saltwater and brackish water applications
  • Meets or exceeds military specification MIL-A-18001K
  • Precision cast for consistent quality and performance

Martyr is the only manufacturer that offers all three alloys—zinc, aluminum, and magnesium—ensuring you have the right protection for your specific water conditions. Regular inspection and replacement of shaft anodes is essential for maintaining comprehensive corrosion protection for your vessel's underwater components.

Worked great

Good service,delivery was on time.

Quick and easy

Nice service

I drive a semi truck which does not have any windows behind the passenger seat, it is very hard to see anything behind that window, which creates a big blind spot. The wide angle lens exposes some of that blind spot.
