The Martyr Anodes CMX02 is a streamlined zinc shaft anode designed to protect 7/8" diameter propeller shafts from galvanic corrosion in saltwater and brackish water environments. This sacrificial anode installs directly onto your shaft, providing essential cathodic protection for underwater metal components.

Martyr is the only manufacturer that produces all three alloys (zinc, aluminum, and magnesium) for comprehensive corrosion protection across different water conditions. This zinc anode is specifically formulated for saltwater applications and should be inspected regularly and replaced when 50% depleted to maintain effective corrosion protection.

I was very happy with my service. I had a problem trying to find my part so I online so I called customer service the person I spoke to when I had questions called the manufacturer to make sure it was correct. It was a great experience.

I found it fairly quickly and without much hassle, however i was unsure if it was the part i needed because of lack of details.
