Panther 35SS650 Safe-Skeg Stainless Steel Outboard Skeg Protector

The Panther Safe-Skeg (35SS650) is a stainless steel skeg protector/cover that slips directly over your outboard engine's factory skeg. Whether you need to protect a new skeg from future impact damage or restore a chipped or broken skeg to like-new condition, the Safe-Skeg delivers a precise, engine-specific fit with a mirror-polished finish.

The skeg is the fin-shaped component at the lowest point of your outboard motor. It acts as a rudder to keep the boat tracking straight and allows for accurate steering. Because of its exposed position, the skeg is highly susceptible to rock strikes and underwater impact damage — making protection essential for performance and safety on the water.

Key Features:

• 316 marine-grade stainless steel construction — mirror-polished for a brilliant, corrosion-resistant finish
• 1.5 mm material thickness — provides superior impact resistance
• Seamless design for added structural strength and durability
• Engine-specific fitment for a precise, like-new installation
• Drain hole prevents trapped water, protecting against corrosion and winter freeze-up
• Quick installation — mounts in minutes with no special tools required

Kit Includes:

• Safe-Skeg stainless steel protector
