Product Details

The Panther Safe-Skeg 35SS705 is a precision-formed 316 marine-grade stainless steel skeg protector designed to defend your outboard motor's lower unit from impact damage. Whether you're protecting a new skeg, restoring a damaged one, or simply upgrading the appearance of your lower unit, the Safe-Skeg delivers a brilliantly polished, seamless fit that installs easily with included hardware.

Key Features:

  • 316 marine-grade stainless steel construction for maximum corrosion resistance in saltwater and freshwater environments
  • 1.5 mm material thickness for a strong, impact-absorbing protective shell
  • Drain hole design prevents water entrapment, protecting against corrosion and freeze-up damage
  • Brilliantly polished finish with a seamless, low-profile design — no protruding cap to snag or cause additional damage
  • Easy installation with Allen-head screws

Kit Includes:

  • 316 stainless steel Safe-Skeg protector
  • Mounting hardware and installation instructions
  • Allen wrench
  • Loctite 262 thread-locking compound

The Panther Safe-Skeg is a smart investment for any boater looking to extend the life of their outboard's lower unit and avoid costly skeg repairs after accidental ground strikes or debris impacts.

Tires arrived in great condition

Everthing went just fine thank you

Great price and delivery time on live well timer order. Other order of boat trailer guidepost kept getting cancelled so placed call to boatplicity to find out they do not sell that part. An email to me explaining why order was cancelled would have been nice. Otherwise all good.

I had good experience, received the product as expected, reasonably priced.

I didn't use boatplicity.com for customer assistance, but the "contact us" section. the unit isn't, hasn't nor was it working as designed. air blows, but it isn't even close to warm air.

i order the wrong item, but i will keep it. thank
