The Sherwood P1710C is a heavy-duty raw water engine cooling pump designed specifically for Caterpillar 3116 marine diesel engines. This genuine Sherwood pump provides reliable cooling water circulation to maintain optimal engine temperatures and prevent overheating in demanding marine environments.

  • Heavy-duty bronze pump body construction for marine durability
  • Stainless steel drive shaft with ball bearing support for extended service life
  • Mechanical seal design provides extended seal life and reliability
  • Rear support bushing for effective load absorption
  • Neoprene impeller and Buna seal included as standard
  • Flanged inlet and outlet ports (port elbows sold separately)
  • Front flange included (drive gear not included)

Replacement Information: Replaces Caterpillar part numbers 4P7168, 7E3268, FP-4P7168, FP-7E3268, 113-1109, 170-6116, and 20R-0753. Also replaces previous Sherwood models P1710, P1710-01, P1710-02, P1710A, P1710X, P1710-04, and P172.

Service Parts: Compatible with Impeller Kit 17000K, Minor Repair Kit 25123, and Major Repair Kit 25121. Gasket CAT135-9819 and water port O-rings 21525 (qty 2) required for installation.
