The Maxwell HRC10 horizontal windlass represents a breakthrough in anchor handling performance for vessels up to 52 feet. This fully automatic rope/chain windlass features a completely above-deck installation system with an integrated capstan, providing 1870 lb maximum pulling capacity with a powerful 1200-watt 12V motor.

Designed to handle both 5/8" rope and 3/8" chain, the HRC10 smoothly accommodates thick rope-to-chain splices thanks to Maxwell's innovative Wave Design™ chainwheel technology. The chainwheel's outer ribs angle slightly forward to guide rope and chain smoothly during retrieval, while opposite-facing inner ribs grip the rope in an undulating wave pattern that's more secure and gentler on your rode than traditional jam cleat designs.
