The Lubri-Core 3300 Universal Control Cable is the go-to choice for straightforward replacement applications. These Lubri-Core cables are designed to fit virtually any engine, transmission, or throttle, and are engineered specifically for the marine environment — meeting or exceeding all industry standards. Type 3300 Control Cables are drop-in replacements for many boats using aftermarket controls or the following engine makers' controls: BMW, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Tohatsu, Volvo, and Yamaha. Standard ends feature 10-32 threaded ends and are available in 10' to 20' lengths.

For boaters demanding the highest level of control feel, Seastar Solutions engineered the TFXtreme (Xtreme) 3300 Control Cable — a premium line that solves the long-standing performance tradeoffs of traditional cable design. Seastar Solutions' unique Xtreme technology incorporates a patented splined core, where ridges on the core allow a close fit with the cable's inner liner, but with minimum contact, resulting in a control cable with easy movement and minimum lost motion. The result is an exceptionally smooth throttle and shift action, even in demanding routing situations.

Engineering Built for the Marine Environment

The TFXtreme line is constructed with a multi-layer architecture designed to outlast harsh saltwater conditions. The TFXtreme Hi-Performance Cable starts with a 1x13 wire core for strength and flexibility, even with heavy loads, then a nylon core coating for smooth action and long life, over that a long-wearing HDPE liner that is ultra-smooth and lubed for life, and finally .033" oil tempered lay wires topped by a super tough HDPE jacket for ultimate protection against UV, chemicals, and weather.

One of the most notable advantages of the Xtreme design over standard cables is routing flexibility. Xtreme Control Cables have a 4-inch minimum bend radius versus an 8-inch minimum bend radius for standard cables, making them by far the best choice for long runs, twin stations, or other difficult routings with multiple cable bends. The Xtreme cables are available in 1-foot increments to ensure a precise length fit for any vessel.
