The Canada Metal CMALPHAGEN1KITM is a complete magnesium anode kit designed specifically for MerCruiser Alpha One Generation I sterndrive outdrives manufactured from 1983 to 1990. This comprehensive corrosion protection system safeguards your outdrive components from galvanic corrosion in freshwater environments.

Kit Includes:

  • One CM31640 trim tab anode
  • Two CM55989 gimbal housing anodes
  • One CM821631 gimbal housing plate anode
  • All necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions

Manufactured from high-quality magnesium alloy meeting AZ91D specifications, these sacrificial anodes protect expensive sterndrive components by corroding preferentially, preventing damage to aluminum and other metal parts. The magnesium material is specifically formulated for freshwater use and provides reliable galvanic protection throughout the boating season.
