The Digital Yacht AIT5000 is a Class B+ AIS transponder featuring a 5W power output, integrated VHF splitter, Wi-Fi interface, and SOTDMA format transmissions. This advanced Class B+ standard offers 2.5 times more transmission power than regular Class B units, guaranteed time slots for transmission in busy traffic areas, and faster update rates that increase with vessel speed. The transmission speed is up to every 5 seconds instead of the standard 30 seconds.
