The Awlgrip D3001 Converter is the catalyst component of the Awlgrip 545 two-part epoxy primer system, designed for professional marine and industrial coating applications. This quart-sized converter must be mixed with the 545 primer base (D1001 or D8001) to activate the epoxy primer system before applying topcoats.

• Compatible with 545 primer base components for use on aluminum, steel, fiberglass, or wood substrates
• 1:1 mixing ratio by volume with 545 Epoxy Primer Base
• May be applied by spray, brush or roller, above or below the waterline
• Pot life of approximately 16 hours at 77°F and 50% relative humidity
• Used to seal filler primers and fairing work before applying topcoats

Application Guidelines:

• For spray application: reduce up to 25% with T0006 reducer
• For brush or roller application: reduce 5-10% with T0031 brushing reducer
• Provides excellent foundation for Awlgrip or Awlcraft 2000 topcoats
