The Awlgrip Awlcraft SE Tint White Basecoat is a revolutionary two-component polyurethane basecoat designed for high-performance marine applications. This fast-drying basecoat provides excellent opacity and is formulated for quick application and easy repairs on yachts and boats.

• Designed for spray application only using conventional air atomized or HVLP spray equipment
• 22% volume solids for optimal coverage
• Must be topcoated with Awlgrip HDT Clear or Awlcraft 2000 Clear for complete protection
• VOC compliant at 700 g/L (5.8 lbs/gallon)
• Requires Awl-Cat #2 Converter (G3010) and compatible reducer (T0001, T0003, or T0005)
• Mix ratio of 100:50:15 (base:reducer:converter) by volume
• Coverage of 401-802 square feet per gallon at recommended dry film thickness

Application Details:

• Apply over Awlgrip primers or existing Awlgrip/Awlcraft topcoats
• Recommended wet film thickness: 2-4 mils per coat
• Typically requires 1-2 coats for solid colors to achieve opacity
• Flash time between coats: 10-20 minutes at ambient temperature
• Must be overcoated with clearcoat within 1 hour to 3 days at 77°F
• Tape-free in 1 hour, light service in 1 day, full cure in 7 days at 77°F
