The Awlgrip Awlcraft SE Metallic Basecoat in Medium Sparkling is a revolutionary high-performance polyurethane basecoat designed specifically for marine applications. This one-gallon professional-grade coating delivers exceptional metallic effects with fast-drying properties and excellent opacity, making it ideal for custom boat finishes and yacht refinishing projects.

Application Details:

• Mix ratio by volume: 100 parts Awlcraft SE base + 50 parts reducer (T0001, T0003, or T0005) + 15 parts Awlcat #2 G3010 spray converter
• Recommended wet film thickness: 2-4 mils per coat
• Recommended dry film thickness: 1-2 mils per coat
• Apply 2 or more coats with 10-20 minutes flash-off time between coats
• Spray application only - not suitable for brush or roller application
• Clearcoat must be applied after 1 hour but before 24 hours of base cure time

This basecoat is applied over appropriate Awlgrip primer or cured Awlgrip/Awlcraft topcoat that has been properly sanded. The Awlcraft SE system is specifically engineered for the harsh marine environment, providing a premium yacht-quality finish with enhanced repairability compared to traditional single-stage coatings.

Note: Requires Awlcat #2 G3010 converter and appropriate reducer (sold separately). This is a professional-grade product intended for spray application by experienced applicators. Clearcoat is required to complete the system and achieve full gloss and protection.
