Awlgrip 5607997 T0001 Fast Evaporating Spray Reducer

The Awlgrip T0001 Fast Evaporating Topcoat Spray Reducer is designed for use with Awlgrip and Awlcraft 2000 topcoats, providing optimal performance for marine urethane coating applications. This reducer is also recommended for use in Quik-Grip Primer.

Key Features:

• Use when application and cure temperatures are between 60-75°F (16-24°C)
• Keeps the paint film open for good flow but evaporates fast enough to provide adequate dry and dust-free times
• At higher temperatures, the solvency helps maximize atomization with fast evaporation that allows solvent to exit before skinning occurs
• Prevents solvent entrapment or solvent "pop"
• Compatible with Awlgrip, Awlcraft 2000, and Awlcraft SE topcoats

Mixing Instructions:

• Most Awlgrip and Awlcraft 2000 topcoats recommend up to 25% reduction
• Mix ratio for gloss finishes is 1:1:1/2 by volume (base:converter:reducer)
• At higher temperatures, T0001 may be added at up to 40% of the mixed color base and converter to overcome faster evaporation rates

This professional-grade reducer is formulated specifically for spray applications where fast drying time is desired. For optimal results in hot conditions, increase the amount of reducer in the mix by 5-10% to compensate for faster evaporation rates.
