Product Details

The CDI Electronics 153-0705 is a direct replacement rectifier designed for vintage Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors. This 3-wire rectifier converts AC current from the stator to DC current for charging the battery and powering electrical accessories on your outboard.

Important: Do not use with maintenance-free batteries, as over-voltage will occur. For maintenance-free battery compatibility, upgrade to CDI part 193-0705, which includes integrated voltage regulation.
